Telugu Keyboard Online
Type Telugu letters directly with the on-screen InScript keyboard or your physical keys.

A key for each letter
- Keep Telugu selected. Tap a key, or click the editor and press its small English key label on a US QWERTY keyboard. For example, K enters క.
- Hold physical Shift, or turn the on-screen Shift on, for the alternate layer. Tap Shift again to turn it off. Caps Lock does not change the Telugu layer.
- Move the caret to insert text, or select a passage to replace it. Choose English for names, links and symbols. Paste keeps your original text.
- Copy the result, or download a UTF-8 TXT file with your punctuation and line breaks. Your draft is kept only in this open tab.
On a phone, use the on-screen keys. Rows wrap to keep keys easy to tap; the English labels still identify their physical positions. InScript mode hides the phone’s text keyboard where supported.
Build a written character
Enter a consonant first, then its vowel sign. Use the virama (halant) on D between consonants to form a conjunct. The small dotted circle on some keys is a visual guide; it is never inserted.
Backspace removes a whole written character, including its marks. Use Undo to reverse just the last key, including an added vowel sign. A selection cutting through a combined character expands to include it when you replace or delete it.
Letters or sounds?
This Telugu keyboard inserts the character assigned to each key immediately. It does not predict words or translate English. If you prefer to type namaskaram and choose నమస్కారం, use English to Telugu Typing instead.

About this InScript layout
The normal and Shift positions follow Keyman Telugu Basic, the Windows InScript layout. Number keys enter 0–9. A dash on a disabled key means that position is unassigned. This version provides normal and Shift layers; AltGr extensions are not included.
