Your text and optional device drafts

Device saving is off by default. Choose Save a draft on this device in either editor to keep one latest draft in this browser profile’s localStorage. It includes your text, Telugu/English mode, originating editor, whether the text came from your input or an example, and save time. It is restored when you next open an editor. Using either editor replaces this single saved draft. If saving is already on, editing text in Fonts or Text to Image updates that draft too.

A draft expires 30 days after its last save and is removed when the site next reads it. The browser may clear storage sooner. Anyone using the same device and browser profile can read a saved draft. This is local browser storage, not an account, cloud backup or server document database.

Uncheck the option or choose Delete saved draft to remove the saved copy and turn saving off; your current editor text stays available. Clear text also removes the saved text while keeping your saving preference. Undo can bring that text back and save it again if saving is still on. Undo history stays only in page memory and is not restored after a reload.

If storage is blocked or full, the save status explains the failure and editing, copying and downloading remain available. With saving off, refresh, closing the tab or leaving the editor can remove your text. Copy or download an important draft as a separate backup.

Moving text between tools

Preview this text in fonts, Create an image and Continue editing this text pass your text, input mode, originating editor and content origin through this tab’s sessionStorage. Same-tab navigation links between these tools do the same. A transfer to Text to Image can also include the chosen font ID, without adding it to your saved text draft. A transfer is removed when the destination reads it, or expires after 30 minutes and is removed on the next read. It does not turn device saving on, and your text is not put in the URL. Browsers may retain sessionStorage during tab or session recovery.

Online word suggestions

On the main English to Telugu Typing page, Telugu mode sends the Roman-letter word being edited from your browser to Google Input Tools to request Telugu candidates. Typed prefixes may also be sent after a short pause. The app does not add your full document to that request.

Google receives the requested word and normal connection information such as your IP address. Its handling of those requests is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and applicable terms. We do not control the service’s retention or availability. The editor is not completely offline.

English mode does not request new suggestions. Switching modes cancels pending work in the editor, although it cannot recall a request already received by a service. Pasted paragraphs are kept as pasted and are not automatically submitted for batch conversion.

Optional paragraph conversion pilot

On the experimental Romanized Telugu page, choosing Convert paragraph explicitly sends the eligible words of your passage to Google Input Tools, one word at a time. The passage can therefore reach Google over multiple requests. The keep-word list and protected URLs, emails, numbers and identifiers are not submitted as conversion words. English names are not reliably detected; list them to keep before converting. Requests run sequentially, with limited passage size and retries. Cancelling stops further work but cannot recall a request already received by Google.

The pilot keeps the original and result only in page memory. It does not restore, turn on or update device draft saving. Copy and TXT generation happen locally. Continue editing transfers the result through the existing consume-once session handoff; the main editor then follows its existing optional draft settings.

Keyboard and font previews

The Telugu InScript keyboard inserts characters locally and does not request online word suggestions. Font preview text stays in your browser; if device saving is on, editing it updates the latest saved draft too. Font files load from this website; your text is not included in those requests or analytics events. Official font download links open Google Fonts, which has its own privacy practices.

Copy and document downloads

Copy text writes the current text to your device’s clipboard after you choose the action. Download TXT creates a UTF-8 file in your browser. Download DOCX creates an editable Word document locally, using a snapshot of your text when you select the action. It does not embed fonts or upload your document to an export server. The DOCX generation code loads from this website only when requested; your text is not included in that request.

Your operating system, clipboard software, browser and destination applications handle text under their own settings and policies.

Local PNG images

Text to Image draws your text and styles in a local canvas. Download PNG encodes a copy of the preview captured when you choose the action; your text and generated image are not sent to an image server. Font files are fetched from this site without your writing in the request. Image layout preferences remain in page memory and are not restored after reload. If device text saving is already enabled, image text edits update the existing draft; this tool does not turn saving on.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

The public website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and usage. Google Analytics collects page views and usage information, such as browser and device details, and uses cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. On the typing and keyboard pages, we count the first user text entry, example starts separately, successful use of the Copy button, TXT and DOCX download requests. DOCX is counted only after generation succeeds and the browser download is initiated. On Text to Image we separately count first manual text entry, explicit sample loading and PNG download initiation after successful encoding. Font and layout changes do not count as a new text start. Restoring or transferring text does not count as new input. On the paragraph pilot we separately count input/sample actions, explicit conversion/retry starts, finished or cancelled request passes, successful Copy and TXT download initiation. A finished pass may still contain failed or unprocessed words; correcting or manually editing a sample result keeps its sample origin. These custom events contain only a fixed action name, tool, input mode, content origin (user, example or unknown) and tool page URL. They do not include editor text, selected text, suggestion words, preview text, image settings, error messages or URL query parameters. A download request does not confirm that a file was saved. The site does not load advertising or session recording scripts. Fonts and interface assets are served with the website.

Cloudflare also loads its Web Analytics / Real User Monitoring (RUM) beacon to measure page visits and performance, including loading speed, responsiveness and layout stability. The beacon can collect page URLs, referrers and browser performance information. Cloudflare describes this beacon as using no cookies or browser storage. It is separate from Google Analytics, which uses cookies. See Cloudflare’s RUM beacon documentation for details.

The website’s hosting provider may process ordinary request and security information, such as requested page URLs, IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. That is separate from storing documents in the editor.

Links and changes

External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. If text storage, analytics or advertising behavior changes, this page will be updated to describe the actual behavior.

Contact messages

If you email us, your message and sender address are processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and the receiving email provider, Gmail, so we can read and respond to your feedback. Contact emails are separate from the editor; typing in the tool does not send an email.
